Presley Gomez - Student Representative

IVA High School, Class of 2025

Presley Gomez entered IVA High School as a freshman and will be graduating in 2025.  Presley has always been curious-minded and interested in different facets of all subjects.  She has been able to travel quite extensively and hopes to integrate travel into a career.  She has a love of listening to other humans stories and hopes to dovetail that passion into anthropoligic studies in college at Cal State Long Beach.  Presley plans to move abroad and complete additional studies in Europe while traveling the world.

Presley also has a strong love of the arts, learning to paint and draw in a wide variety of different mediums.  She was able to serve as an intern at StudioPick (now The Art Spot) in Long Beach. She recently began an internship program with NewFilmakers LA, where she will be able to explore career opportunities in the film industry, coinciding nicely with the Broadcasting class she is finishing through the dual enrollment program at LBCC.  In addition to internship opportunities, Presley has enjoyed volunteer work through IVA, such as serving at Veteran’s Breakfasts and walking in the 2024 PRIDE Parade.

“I am so excited and grateful to represent the IVA High student body as a school board member. I hope that I can help IVA make informed decisions to meet the needs and wants of my community to make every student’s high school experience the best possible.”
