Analicia Gomez, Board Member

Masters in Public Administration

 

Analicia Gomez is currently the Director of Community Engagement and Senior Project Manager at Community Works Design Group, a landscape architecture and park planning firm in Southern California.  She has nearly 20 years of experience in planning, public administration and project management.  From grant writing and government budgeting to non-profit service and creative marketing and engagement, Analicia has done a little bit of everything in both the private and public sector.  

Analicia has a strong passion for learning and teaching from math to emotional intelligence and everything in between.  Early in her career, she worked as a Step-MOD Curriculum teacher and aide at Hawarden Hills Academy in Riverside where she later enrolled her daughter for her educational start.  As a parent of an IVA High Schooler, Analicia is excited to lend her skills and experience to the IVA Board of Directors.  

Ms. Gomez completed her Bachelor of Science at Cal Poly Pomona in Landscape Architecture where she was able to study abroad in Italy, sparking her passion for travel and learning about the conditions of humanity through travel.  Analicia completed her Masters in Public Administration and is finalizing her Doctorate in Public Administration after working in government for over a decade. She understands how integral upholding the pillars of public administration is to any public organization and is happy to assist the board with developing tools and resources to bolster the amazing work that has been done to date.
