Join us in celebrating our students virtue practice. This full school weekly closing ceremony is one of the rituals that mark our communities celebration of struggle, virtue practice, and the challenge of learning. 

Each week we will post the locations of our students.

Once a month our ceremony will be full school, one week by grade level, and two weeks with mixed grade level groups based on students last class of the day. To know where to go for the appropriate ceremony you will need to know your students' 6th class.

Please contact the office for help in finding the appropriate ceremony. 

This week's ceremony locations:

6th grade: Rec Center - Ms. Bryant leads: English 6 with Ms. Flower; Physical Education 6 with Ms. Gordon; Math 6 with Ms. Chen 
7th grade: Plaza - Mr. McCurry and Ms. Noble lead: History 7 with Ms. Farris, Art 7 with Ms. Denis 
8th grade: Labyrinth - Ms. Campos, Science 8 and Mr. Fountain, History 8 lead - Ms. McAdams and Mr. Mikaele join

Announcements:

• Next Friday is Free Dress Day in honor of 8th graders who are taking a leadership role presenting sample Advisories
• Friday, Sept. 23rd is Faculty Academy - Pupil-free day
• Cross Country is starting on Monday at 3:30pm - come to practice Monday/Wednesday. If you can't let Ms. McAdams know. Season costs $30 (down from $60!!)
• Math Club Informational Meeting on Monday right after school 3:20-3:45pm
• Make sure you leave by the back gate every day. 
• We need to walk all bikes on campus - no riding on campus. 

General celebrations: 

• Teachers share the virtue practice they have seen - if there is time teachers can shout out their colleagues!
• We value a culture of thinking and out of that comes a culture of caring for the minds and hearts of those around us - celebrate your caring of those around you before leaving this week!
