Join us in celebrating our students virtue practice. This full school weekly closing ceremony is one of the rituals that mark our communities celebration of  struggle, virtue practice, and the challenge of learning. 

Each week we will post the locations of our students.

Please contact the office for help in finding the appropriate ceremony. 

This week's ceremony locations:

Skate Park (there is no skating there but there used to be!) This location is where our outdoor lunch tables are by the entrance/exit gate.

6th grade: Ms. Flower with English 6; Physical Education 6 with Ms. Gordon; Math 6 with Ms. Chen
7th grade: Mr. McCurry with Creative Writing History 7 with Ms. Farris
8th grade: Ms. Campos, Science 8 and Mr. Fountain, History 8

Announcements:

December - we have 3 weeks left before Winter Break, 3 weeks after Winter Break until the end of the semester. All late assignments and make up assignments are due Friday, December 13 - two weeks before the end of the semester.

• Winter Break - December 26 through January 6.
• Dec. 13 - Last day to turn in late assignments or make up assignments - avoid the procrastination.
• Last day of the semester is Thursday, January 26 - the following day is a Faculty Academy day
• Heading into the outreach season - Dec. 15 is our first Family Info Night (beginning of the student leader season)
• Clubs will be organized by parents and rejuvenated soon!
• Log out of your google account when you are done - continued care for our people
• Facilities - walking in the halls, please

General celebrations: 

• Teachers share the virtue practice they have seen - if there is time teachers can shout out their colleagues!
• 13 weeks into the school year - 6 weeks remaining. 
• Cross Country Awards!
• Basketball Team introduction
